Although it's not the cheapest, you do get what you pay for. The best by far.
My husband and I have eaten at, and from, this restaurant for over 20 years. The last few times the food hasn't been up to much, but I assumed possible staff changes, or the chef having an off day, caused the flavour deterioration. On Saturday night I tried to order something i ordered previously, and was told there were menu changes (not sure when this took place) so the item was no longer available. The pakora portion was vastly decreased in size, although price remained the same. Two of the three meals ordered were very poor, and the worst offence of all, was finding a piece of pot scourer wire, three fork fulls into my chicken biryani. I suppose it shows they scrub their cooking utensils, but sadly don't rinse sufficiently to protect me from literally gagging on my dinner. I don't know what's caused the drop in quality, but I won't be using them again, and would discourage anyone else to.
I have been using the Red Fort for 20 years. Food is always to an exceptionally high standard. Highly recommended
